Chicken Alfredo

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 2-3 persons

Ingredients

1 15-ounce jar of Alfredo sauce

8 ounces dried pasta, egg noodles or fettuccine

2 teaspoons chicken base

1 cup (fresh or frozen) precooked chicken (dice into ¼" squares, then measure)

1 tablespoon roasted garlic

Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

½ teaspoon coarsely ground pepper

Directions

If you are using precooked chicken, dice about 1 cup of chicken pieces and store the rest in the refrigerator.

Pour 2 cups of cold water, and chicken base and pasta (broken into halves or thirds) into the pressure cooker. Boil until pasta is just cooked.

If you are using fresh uncooked chicken add along with uncooked pasta, close the lid firmly and cook on high for 5 minutes.

Take off heat and let the steam escape.

Drain out cooking liquid into a bowl and place the pasta and chicken (if you had added it) to another bowl.

Mix in roasted garlic and Alfredo sauce and cooked chicken pieces (if not added earlier), pepper and shredded parmesan cheese and serve hot.
